so close to truth yet so far.., riding on a dream that fell apart in the shoes that walked me to hell a ray undefined found me soul dead in the dark oddness an obtuse hope woke me up & I walked away never looked back...

You create an eerie mood, a twilight world that is close to the truth, but yet not quite the truth. Beautiful work. I see a progression in your poems, a deepening. I like the different themes you are pursuing. :)
Mm. This is lovely - I too especially enjoy the image of "the shoes that walked me to hell." There is such movement in this small piece - I feel it dropping downward and then, unexpectedly, rising out of the depths at the end.
