Some Day

I can’t pretend,
I am feeling alive
Every time I move on,
You grab me, by my mind
I am going places,
but I cant seem to find
sanity that’s mine
So don’t tell me
Its all a big mistake
You know, I am just not a game
Don’t you dare,
tell me that you’ll be not there
I am tired of crying
over these memories you made
I will not be here, someday
don’t come searching then
When I go far away!

The narrator knows her own mind. It feels good to read a love poem about a person who will not roll over and give up because a relashionship might be over.

But youth is a hard time, when young people are searching for their "soulmates", a concept that may or may not be true.

I meant to say that your music is so pretty! Who's the artist?

What a painful poem... very raw and real. Nice work! I love the first two lines, especially. A very strong lead-in to the rest of the poem.

Thankyou all :)

Cristina, the song which plays first is a classical indian rendition with the instrument "flute" , accompanied by mridanga( indian version of drums) and shurti(the base music). The artist on flute is -Deepak Ram & the album is called Samvad.
Glad you like it, I like it a lot too

hi. i am new to your blogroll. thanks for having me.

regarding your poem - you use punctuation indiscriminatly(sp?). i would use it properly or not use it at all. inconsistenct can confuse a reader.

thanks again!!

Hi Thomas,
welcome to the Blog roll.
Thanks for pointing it out, it never crossed my mind to check punctuation, will be more careful this time around.

There is a strong lyrical quality to this piece.
