A stone's life

bringing alive at touch,
the fresh nip of wind swims through the bare neck,
the dainty hair, along the skin ablaze
cringes and bumps along the follicle.
A rush of blood reminds of the tenderness I wear,
beneath lies a crumpled, worn, and withered, much smeared child
unmoved, un-clued, betrothed to a  funeral pyre,
disenchanted to the lovers muse
to the musk of sweat beneath my own breasts
I need a holy chant,
to bring me to the former painted face,
the acceptable picture of a chaste saint.
let me not feel alive, my pride aside I pray
for to live means to sin
at suncrests and dusks alike
awakening me deep inside
a nip of wind, your touch alike
unrests my shameful soul unaware

Another day

So long a summer's haze,
remind me the bliss of younger days,
unfold the memories of the times we walked by the waves,
step on a step in each other's embrace.
The future i scripted in innocent days,
little I knew of destiny's tormenting ways,
as it cruelly turned those dreams a waste,
so i try to fill your void space
not caring for the tears that were dried away
yet another summer's haze and another salty wave
today it is just, another day.

Expectations

What will you ask of a sea?
A sea that you made from your own tears and sweat

What of the sky can you ask?
A sky that you cannot touch or see

Why do you pray to the gods?
Those that men have created

What can you ask even of a dream?
It shows you a glimpse of those which never come true
And silently walks away

Heaven on Earth

Angels have fallen,
emptied the skies.
beneath the clouds,
lay now the heavens.
Thousand tears shed
drenched us, the rain,
washing away our miseries,
ours, mere mortal's.

what remains now is
a fallen heaven,
in the hands of mere men,
who do not have an eternity
to hate, or to make things right,
not even fully to live or to love.
what they have is- now.
Now there is
a heaven in their hold,
and a hell to make.
And so they try
the mortals!

By name - Cream

I am the color cream,
the dull light beam,
they might not notice me,
I am subtle like dream.
Splash me with a color,
and I prime,
make it look better,
lend it the fame.
I am color cream,
you will remember me b’cause I am dim.
